This clip shows molecules of the protein calmodulin CaM, calcium_modulated protein in an unbound state surrounded by ions and other fast_moving small molecules. The full sequence of ten clips shows the interaction between CaM, calcium ions, the MLCK myosin light_chain kinase protein, and the actin_myosin bundles of the cell磗 cytoskeleton, resulting in contraction of the membrane and cell division.
