Old wooden sledge made with seal and dog skin. The sledge was built in 1910, and was used by Morten Pedersen Porsild (1872-1956), the founder of the Arctic Station at Qeqertarsuaq, on Disko Island, in 1906. The research station remains operational, and is one of the few science facilities north of the Arctic Circle that is operational throughout the year. Filmed in Greenland, 2012.
