Animation of the movement of charged particles between two charged plates. The type of charge on the particles and plates is indicated by a + for positive and - for negative. Like charges repel each other, while unlike charges attract. The charged particle between the plates follows a parabolic path, at a constant horizontal velocity but accelerating towards the plate with the opposite charge.
