Timelapse of the night sky filmed from the top of La Palma Island, Canary Islands. Clouds pass through the Caldera de Taburiente valley and out over the Atlantic Ocean. The Southern star Canopus, the second brightest star in the night sky, can be seen moving across the horizon from the centre of the image. In the later frames an unusually bright red airglow appears in the sky. Airglow is natural process caused by the Earth苨 atmosphere.
