High-speed footage of a common frog (Rana temporaria) half-submerged in a pond. Its throat moves in and out as it breathes, and it blinks by sinking its eyes into its head. The common frog is found throughout Europe and Asia, spending much of the year in wetlands or grassy regions, hibernating during cold winters, and returning to ponds to breed in the spring.
