Timelapse footage of winds blowing through lenticular clouds at sunset. The clouds do not move with the wind as they are produced on the crests of a standing wave, typically formed as air is raised as it passes over a mountain. At the top of the wave it is so cold that moisture condenses into cloud, leaving the air dry and clear downwind of it. The low sun paints the clouds bright orange against the sky. Filmed in the USA in winter.
