Flat grain beetles (Cryptolestes sp.) feeding on grain. These beetles are agricultural pests. Females lay their eggs on grain and when hatched, the larvae feed on the germ layer of the grain. The larvae form a cocoon that food particles stick to, which conceals them until they pupate into adults. Filmed in Wales, UK.
