Partial solar eclipse seen through low clouds. The clouds act as a filter and remove much of the glare. Sunspots can be seen on the face of the crescent Sun, which was highly active at this time. This is the solar eclipse of 20th March 2015. This was a total eclipse, but totality was only visible in a small path across the North Atlantic.
