Traditional tuna fishing. Spanish fishermen carrying out traditional passive trapping of migrating Atlantic bluefin tuna (Thunnus thynnus). This tradiation dates back to Phoenician times. This footage is from Andalucia, Spain, where the technique is known as Almadraba, a name dating from Moorish times. This is the central pool, where the tuna congregate.
