Harriet Elizabeth Williams (nee Thompson?) was an African-American lady of very small stature, claiming to be no more than 43 centimetres tall and 5.5 kilograms in weight. Born in 1892 she was a popular attraction at various shows such as Coney Island's Dreamland and Barnum and Bailey. In 1924 she was a member of the Strange Folk Society and in 1925 she started touring as a dancer with the Whitman Sisters. Billed as insThe World's Smallest Perfect Womanins, she even sang for President Coolidge at the White House in June 1926.
