Oil terminal storage tank, Avonmouth, UK. This spherical tank has been pressurised and is used to store liquified petroleum gas (LPG), one of the products from the refining of crude oil. Petroleum gases are used as a fuel in a similar way to natural gas (mostly methane). The Wytch Farm oil field situated in Dorset, UK, partially supplies this terminal. Photographed in 2005.
