Otto Adolf Eichmann (1906-1962) Nazi and SS-Obersturmbannfuhrer (Lieutenant-Colonel). He was charged by Reinhard Heydrich with the task of facilitating and managing the logistics of the mass deportation of Jews to ghettos and extermination camps in Nazi-occupied Eastern Europe. After World WarII he escaped to Argentina . He was captured by Israeli Mossad agents and tried in Israel, convicted and hanged in 1962.
