Bald eagles can be found all around the city of Juneau in Alaska. At one point during the mining days there was a bounty on them. They use their jagged talons to hunt prey such as geese, salmon, sea gulls, ducks, and other wildlife. They also scavenge for food. Bald Eagles are in the family Accipitridae and can have a wing span of up to 7 feet long.
