Sap exuding from the cut end of a stem of a Euphorbia sp. plant. Euphorbias are a type of succulent plant. When cut, they exude a milky, latex sap that irritates and burns the skin, and is poisonous when ingested. Contact of latex with the eyes can cause blindness.
