Photomicrograph of fully embryonated (Neoascaris / Toxocara vitulorum) eggs containing larvae immediately prior to hatching. Parasitic nematodes which normally infect cattle, these eggs were collected from Egyptian camels. The egg length is approximately 60 microns and the microscope illumination is differential interference contrast.
