Rescued spectacled fruit bat (Pteropus conspicillatus) feeding at Tolga Bat Hospital, near Atherton, Queensland, Australia. The bats at this hospital are typically recovering after injuries caused by flying into a barbed wire fence or from tick fever infections. The animals are then re-released into the wild. These bats are found in the wet tropical forests in north-eastern Australia.
