These include metals (iron, steel, copper, brass, zinc, lead nickel and aluminium), wood and cork, plastics (PVC, polythene, perspex), natural and artificial fabrics (wool, cotton, nylon) and miscellaneous items (glass, carbon, cardboard and rubber). Items like these are used in schools to compare the electrical and magnetic properties of materials we find in our daily lives.
