Mrs William Grant Hayes, a blind and deaf housewife of Lymington, New Jersey, runs her home efficiently despite her great handicaps. She cooks meals for her family of three and can easily prepare food for 20 guests. Mrs Hayes has trained herself to carry on a conversation by means of her hands.
