Cheetah as regimental pet . Sheba a large cheetah has been adopted as regimental pet by the 2nd Battalion Royal Fusiliers ( City of London Regiment ) which recently returned from Aden to Aldershot . Caught by Colonel M P Hancock , DSO , the commanding officer of the Battalion in Somaliland of last year and tamed by his wife . Sheba is quite docile with the soldiers with whom she parades .
