Ninety - one years old and still going strong . Mr George Barker of Wood Green , London , celebrates his ninety - first birthday this month . He intends to carry out his annual walk to St Albans , a distance of seventeen miles . Mr Barker 's chief hobby is playing the violin . He has a number of excellent instruments .
