Swiss starts to walk from Z羹rich to Tokyo for Olympic Games. Fritz Steininger, a Swiss, has left Z羹rich on an attempt to walk to Tokyo, a distance of about 14,000 miles, in time for the next Olympic Games scheduled to take place in Tokyo in 1940. If he succeeds, Steininger will be awarded a special Olympic prize. His route will take him through France, England, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Percia, Afghanistan, India, French Indochina, China and then Japan. 4 February 1938
