She's done what was always thought to be an impossibility ... Miss Rhoda Selby, of London, has found a needle in a haystack! Crowds turned up to the spot just behind St Paul's Cathedral where the haystack had been built, and proceeded to tear it to pieces, looking for the needle. The finder was presented with a new sewing machine by the promoters of Sewing Week, a campaign to give housewives the itch to stitch. March 3rd 1952.
