Paris: 'Symphonie' is the name given to this dream of a bridal gown which Jacques Fath showed in his Winter collection. Made of scores of yards of White Satin, it has a nipped in waist jacket entirely reimbroidered in white braiding. A full upstanding jabot of the satin fills in the neckline and reappears at the back of the basque. A filmy white silk tulle veil falls in foamy folds from a gay little white satin hat with feather trim. The whole ensemble offers a refreshing change from the conventional bridal wear. August 1951
