Chris, the baby giraffe, born October 1954 at London Zoo, Regent's Park. Once a week, Mr. George Robinson, the Giraffe Keeper, who stayed up all night with Chris when he was born, takes the tall baby's measurements to make sure he is growing as he should. The baby giraffe is 7 ft 4 ins tall, compared with 5 ft 8 ins when he was born. He should reach a height of about 16ft when fully grown. 固opFoto
