Pele of the Brazil World Cup team is hailed as the best footballer in the world and probably the richest. He is known as "The Black Pearl". As a 17-year-old prodigy he played in the later matches in the 1958 World Cup and scored two great goals in the final. Since then he has been scoring fluently all over the world. His ambition is to reach a target of 1000 goals. At the end of the 1965-6 season he has amassed 758. His other ambition is off course to keep Brazil champions.
