A parade passes the American Embassy in London's Grosvenor Square. The parade was organised by the Student Labour Federation who carried banners - "Leave the Cuban People Alone" ; "Hands off Cuba" etc - whilst one man (centre) held a slogan on his shoulder and carried a rolled up newspaper carrying a photograph of US President John F Kennedy . Urgent action for the defence of Cuba was called for yesterday in a statement from the British Peace Committee and the Youth Peace Campaign . 23rd October 1962
