Playing left half the Charlton against Burnley in the FA Cup final at Wembley tomorrow, will be 23-year-old William Whitaker described as the luckiest footballer in Britain. He has played in only half a dozen games the Charlton's first team this season. He has never played in an FA Cup tie, his first being in the final. Whittaker, a former RAF rear gunner, has been chosen to play in place of Revell whose knee has been injured. Picture shows a new portrait of William Whitaker(left) 25 April 1947
