A picturesque glimpse of London in the last century was seen at Shepperton Studios today when a troop of Royal Horse Guards, in full dress for the first time since the war, appeared in scenes shot for Sir Alexander Calder's London films productions "an Ideal Husband". On a vast scene constructed to resemble the Hyde Park corner of the period in authentic detail, the Guards rode by to the cheers of crinolined ladies walking with their top-hatted and frock-coated escorts. picture shows: there's something about a soldier!
