Mrs Alfreda Irons, teacher of charm at a London School of deportment, was married at Caxton Hall today to Mr Howell Glynne, principal base of the Sadler's Wells Opera Company. The bride is the widow of Mr J.R.Irons, wartime bread expert at the food ministry. She met Mr Glynne at a rehearsal of "Peter Pan". The bridegroom and ex-farmer from Swansea, is well known in South Africa, where he sang with the Royal Carl Rosa Opera Company.
