Model by accident. A riding accident at 14, has led to a career as a West End Mannequin for 17-year-old Jeanne Narborough, daughter of Divisional Detective Inspector Narborough, Metropolitan police. Her fall injured her side, and a subsequent operation left with a stoop. To remedy this, Jeanne began to attend a West End mannequin school for lessons in department. After a fortnight there, she was spotted by Mr Aage Thaarup, hat designer for the Queen and the Princesses. He saw in her the ideal model for his teenage hats, and she has now begun her career, modelling Mr Thaarup's creations for the 'younger set'.
