The London Fire Brigade's fireboat Massey Shaw in to relive her part in the Armada of Little Ships which crossed to the beaches of Dunkirk at the beginning of of June 25 years ago . Pictured with a bell which went through the war and will be presented to the Dunkirk Fire Brigade are Station Officer R W J Helyer , BEM (49) (left) and Station Officer C H Winnister , who were on board the Massey Shaw when she left for Dunkirk from the Thames in front of Fire Brigade Headquarters , Albert Embankment . At the time of Dunkirk , station officer Helyer wa a fireman in the original crew of the Massey Shaw , and is the only member of that crew still serving with the brigade . Station Officer Winnister is another Dunkirk veteran . He was a Royal Navy quartermaster in HMS Gallant at the time . The Massey Shaw will be notable among the many little ships taking part in a wreath-laying ceremony off the Dunkirk beaches on 6th June 1965
