MODEL RELEASED. Phenotypic screening research. Researchers with an automated system being used to carry out phenotypic screening for biosciences and medical research. This system is from the HighRes Biosolutions company, which produces robotic equipment designed to handle cell samples and to manipulate and analyse contents rapidly following a pre-programmed schedule. One of the applications of such robots is their use (as shown here) in developing novel stem cell and genome engineering technologies.
