COMMEMORATIVE MONUMENT Allegorical figure of woman in memory of a wealthy holiday-makers died in Bormio during spa treatments; On the partially deteriorated tombstone it reads: "Perennial memory of Savina Corneliani of Milan; where there came to the salubrious sources hit by sudden plague ...". The shape of the pelvis in the lower right (see detail in FSNgilardi_71560.jpg); the symbols of the grapes and the ears; the blaze on the head energized for celestial intervention suggest that the lady was a generous benefactor of recognized faith and piety.
