SCHOOL The entrance of the 'Michele Coppino' elementary school in Turin on the first day of the school year 1955/1956: the children are waiting for the door to allow them to enter. Born as a rural school with the name 'Scuola Crocetta'; whose presence already stands in 1876; in 1903 occupies a new building built in an area occupied by an orphanage; and is headed by the Minister of Public Education promoter of the law Who; struggling with illiteracy; led to three years of compulsory education and gratuity up to the fifth elementary school.
