Photograph of the filamentary nebulae in Cygnus (NGC 6960 & 6962). These two nebulae are the remains of an exploding sphere of gas emitted by a supernova lying somewhere between them over 1,000 years ago. The line from the top left is a meteor trail. Dated 20th century.
