The numbat (Myrmecobius fasciatus) is a marsupial found in eucalyptus forests and other dry, open woodlands of Australia. It feeds exclusively on termites and uses its sense of smell and long, sticky tongue to locate them. This one is in Alice Springs Desert Park.
