Glacier-carved landscape of Acadia National Park and its surroundings on September 6, 2015, as seen by the Operational Land Imager (OLI) on the Landsat 8 satellite. The pink granite outcrop of Cadillac Mountain is visible on the eastern side of Mount Desert Island, the largest island in Maine. Acadia National Park celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2016.
