V-shaped furcula (wishbone) in a Velociraptor mongoliensis fossil from the Late Cretaceous, Mongolia. Velociraptors belong to the group Theropoda, which includes T. rex and also all living birds. The wishbone is a key piece of evidence to the relatedness of these animals.
