Using plastic molecular component models to illustrate molecular geometry, San Clemente, CA, high school chemistry students create examples of Valence Shell Electron Pair Repulsion abbreviated as VSEPR. The model is used to predict the geometry of individual molecules from the number of electron pairs surrounding their central atoms.
