Gustav Nagel (1874-1952), a so-called "eco freak" and hippie before his time. He wandered through Germany to promote simple and natural living. He lived in a cave in Brandenburg on a vegetarian diet and wore simple clothes and sandals. He also campaigned against the use of capital letters and published several books.
