A mating pair of Adelie Penguins (Pygoscelis adeliae) with their single egg visible on rock nest as the female stands briefly, on high bluff of Three Sisters Point, King George Island, South Shetland Islands, Bransfield Strait, Antarctica, Oct. 2007. The penguins have just come ashore to form a colony and breed.
