Cerrado (brazilian savanna) biome: campos rupestres (saxicolous vegetation) : Bauhinia tenella (Leguminosae / Fabaceae, Caesalpinioideae), endemic to rock outcrops of northern Goias and southern Tocantins States, Brazilian Highlands, Brazil. One of the smallest-leaved Bauhinias: leaves bi-foliolate, with folioles 1-1.8 cm long.
