Pittosporum, Japanese Cheesewood (Pittosporum tobira), pitosporaceae, a cultivated evergreen shrub everpresent in many gardens and parks in Greece. The small white or yellowish flowers grow in bundles. The latin name derives from the Greek word for "pitch seeds", the seeds being detested even by goats for their tar taste.
