LED bulb. High-power white light-emitting diodes (LEDs) are beginning to be used for lighting and illumination applications. Compared to conventional incandescent light bulbs, LEDs are much more efficient, durable, and have a longer lifetime. Shown here is an LED bulb that produces 450 lumens of light from 8 Watts of electrical power and has a lifetime of 25000 hours.
