'St. Dunstan's Clock', 1897. The clock was installed at the church of St Dunstan-in-the-West in Fleet Street, London, in 1671. Two figures, perhaps representing Gog and Magog, strike the bells with clubs. It was the first public clock in London to have a minute hand. From Old and New London, Volume I, by Walter Thornbury.
