Joseph Alfred Sparks (1901?1981) - a British trade unionist and Labour Party politician. Campaigning for the parliamentary constituency of Acton in 1945 with the slogan: 'An Acton man for Action in Parliament'. Sparks won the seat, which he held until the Conservative landslide of 1959.
