As members of the N.U.W.S.S Pilgrimage to London from Carlisle, passed through Manchester, they were joined by a large number of local supporters. Those pictured include, Lady (Beatrice) Rochdale, Mrs. Frank Marshall, Coucillor Margaret Ashton (chair of the Manchester Society for Women's Suffrage) and Miss. Dover.
