Flyer for cabaret evening with Aristide Bruant at 84 Boulevard Rochechouart, Montmatre. Aristide Bruant (6 May 1851 - 10 February 1925) was a French cabaret singer, songwriter, comedian, and nightclub owner. The singer has been immortalised by Toulouse Lautrec who portrayed him with this same red scarf, black cape and hat. Bruant was known for insulting his audience. The text bottom right reads 'Tous les clients sont des cochons' 'The audience are all pigs'.
