Whitelock's public house, 8 Turk's Head Yard, Leeds, West Yorkshire, c1955-c1980. The building includes the public house, kitchen and stores, and dates to the 18th century. The building is two and three storeys, and was remodelled by the Whitelock family. The interior has low beams crossing over the longest sections of the bar in a T-shape, the closest of which is attached to slim twisted brass piers that are on the corners of the half-height walls. The second beam is supported by a cast iron column in the middle of the bar, which has a tiled front and marble top. The wood and glass half-height walls are throughout the bar, and divide the bar area and seating areas.
