Magellan radar image of lava flows near Hestia Rupes on the north-western corner of Aphrodite Terra, Venus. The complex network of narrow fractures in the crater extends for approximately 50 kilometres. These features appear to be due to drainage of lava along pre-existing fractures and the subsequent collapse of the surface. Rough areas appear bright, flat ones dark. This image covers an area 105 kilometres by 45 kilometres.
